Beth Munns Music Teacher

I'm Beth, a 28 year old independent music teacher for private students and small groups based at my home in Atwell.
I have been teaching the piano, voice, flute, ukulele and guitar to all ages for four years. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance.
I hail from the UK but have been living in New Zealand and Perth for 4 years. I have now settled here in Perth.
I have a friendly personality and am very passionate about music and teaching. I really value the communication between teacher, parent and student. I think It's so valuable for a parent to be aware of and supportive of their child's learning. I like to make lessons fun, using different games, rhymes and incentives to remember certain aspects of music. I will always be sensitive to what a child is ready for in their learning, plus keenly observing their learning styles in order to teach them in the best way. I feel that keeping their motivation high is just as important as teaching them the right thing.
My teaching style varies from student to student depending on their needs. With teaching it is not a case of one size fits all! I enjoy using my skills to teach each student as best I can and adapt to their learning styles. I find it lots of fun and hope your child will too!
