Beta Bar

Beta Bar is a Gaming themed venue located in Hawthorn.

The brain child of Mana bar Melbourne’s Bonnie Bradley and Skaidris Gunsmith; Beta Bar is a unique hub for geeks, gamers and the gaming industry to meet and socialise.

Beta Bar is a distinctly different venue unlike anything seen in Australia before, it provides a relaxed social atmosphere where people can gather and play both Video and Board Games provided by the bar while enjoying reasonably priced beverages.

A stage/performance area is also available on request for people to use free of charge for live Podcasting, Band’s and Live Streaming Games to our community.

The key word being used here is Community, on the very base level if we can provide a relaxed atmospheric space where you can hang out with and meet new geeky friends then we will have done our job.

We are dedicated to being not only a location for the community to gather but for the bar to be a strong community member itself. We strive to provide opportunities to Indie Game Developers and Community Members that they would otherwise not easily have access to.

Free Indie Game Launch Space.
Anyone looking to launch their own Indie Game will have the space to use for launch events free of charge.

Games made by Local Dev’s will be available to play at our events (please contact us via email with any inquires about how to have your game available to play.)

Hosting Networking events for Devs and Creatives to meet up and make lasting relationships.
