At Bennmann, we are following the footsteps of previous generations of wool growers. Heading into the fifth generation of Bennett merino breeders, we have the extraordinary privilege of being able to continue the process of delivering one of the earth’s finest fibres.
We are understandably proud of the tradition of excellence that we have inherited and want to continue to enrich and develop. We know that merino wool is unique and we are passionate about breeding the ultimate quality fleece. Our aim at Bennmann is to breed highly sustainable and extremely desirable wool breeding sheep with an emphasis on soft, bold crimping white wools on a meaty frame. This has led us into breeding poll rams which shows our increasing objective to provide growers with a broader choice of options. We believe that future market trends are developing towards a dual purpose animal with more profitable income returns through the strong combination of meat and wool.
Our recent poll sires have been sourced from Woodpark Poll and Poll Boonoke adding a comprehensive basis to our genetics.
