Our peaceful 4 hectare rural property is situated in the foothills of Queensland’s tallest peak, Mt Bartle Frere, and has views of world heritage rainforest. The land fronts onto Babinda creek, a beautiful, clear, safe freshwater waterway suitable for swimming and snorkelling. The creek has many species of fish, turtles and sightings of platypus are possible. Bird watching, forest walks and kayaking are available. The cottage is self - contained with lounge, kitchen, queen bedroom and reef bathroom.
Self catering. Supplies available in nearby Babinda, which has 2 pubs, a supermarket, bakery and a movie theatre open on weekends. Other nearby attractions include: the Boulders, Josephine Falls, Eubenangee Swamp and Bramston Beach. Babinda kayak hire is close by. We are ideally situated for hikers wishing to tackle Mt. Bartle Frere.
