My passion and mission is to provide children in my care with the best start in life. Children are cared for by just one friendly, caring and interested educator. The child plays, learns and grows in a safe, comfortable home setting with a small group of children. Simple routines, fun activities, adult role modelling and easy safe excursions ensure that children of all cultures, beliefs and abilities enjoy a stress free childhood. They develop a sense of self, a caring attitude to others and self confidence within their local community. My goal is to include the parent in the care of their child by consulting with the parent about all aspects of their child's care. I am caring, confident, positive, creative, well organised and have good support networks and a professional attitude. I have an understanding of children and children's development and have a range of positive child guidance management skills. I understand the value of play and acknowledge that this is how children learn. Each child's individual interests and needs are incorporated into daily play and learning experiences. Lots of time is made for laughter and cuddles.
