Beautiful Palms - panoramic and spectacular views of ocean, Barrenjoey headland, Broken Bay and Pittwater from the deck, along the length of a quaint and comfortable cypress pine lined cottage on the ocean (NE) side of Palm Beach. Delight in the wonder of sun, surf and sand at your doorstep!
Enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner on the deck overlooking the water. Surf and ocean pool swimming, long walks along the beach to Barrenjoey headland and lighthouse, Pittwater sunsets.
Can accommodate up to 6 people in three bedrooms - one queen, one double and two singles. A comfortable and relaxing atmosphere - board games, books and broadsheets, the order of the day, rather than the big screen!
Feel free to cook your own meals in a cute 80s 'retro', wattle coloured, fully equipped, but basic, kitchen. Two bathrooms (again a bit retro) and an outside shower to wash away the sand from the beach.
Cafes and restaurants, all in a healthy walking distance. Catch the ferry across to Patonga (renowned for it's fabulous fish & chips) or Ettalong (I have heard, good oysters). Go on a picnic via ferry across Pittwater to The Basin. Take a scenic ferry tour up the Hawkesbury river or, in season, go whale watching. Sailing enthusiasts will enjoy the panorama of sails on racing days from both the Pittwater and ocean sides of Palm Beach.
Not for the feint hearted - there are 56 stairs up to the house, but be assured, every step worth it! The cottage may not be suitable for toddlers or very young children unless under strict supervision.
