Beautiful Beginnings 3D/4D Maternity Ultrasounds and Photography

Having had a camera in his hands since the age of 15, Peter has seen the photography industry go through many changes from film to today’s digital world. Having a strong background in lighting, printing and shooting Pete’s knowledge in this creative industry is nothing but exceptional.


After having our first son Austin (now 9years old) we settled in Mackay QLD and spent the next eight years capturing many memories for so many wonderful families.
After having our second child (Zayleigh now 6 years old) we thought that Mackay was missing something that we felt would complement our photography business.

After six months of researching and training , we launched Baby Bond Ultrasounds, a 3D/4D Maternity Ultrasound lounge. Servicing Mackay through to Townsville, we spent three years giving families the wonderful opportunity to see their unborn child in the womb. Such a wonderful bonding experience for the whole family. This is a non - diagnostic and non medical service and does not replace your medical scan.

During this time I developed a love for newborn photography and although I had been heavily involved in the business from day one, Photography was Pete’s passion. So with a huge amount of encouragement from Pete I decided to launch in and follow my new passion.

Today I am the main newborn photographer for our business and a just love photographing newborns everyday. It’s now my passion, and I love sharing it with Pete.

Family is so important to us and although we had many beautiful friends in Mackay we really wanted to get back closer to family.
Always up for a challenge and loving new and exciting changes, we decided in September 2015 to relocate our family to Newcastle NSW. Being closer to family makes us happy and Newcastle is a stunning place, one we want to bring our children up in.

The relocation has also included merging our two businesses together so in September 2015 we launched our new brand. Beautiful Beginnings – 3D/4D Maternity Ultrasounds and Photography is something we are both passionate about and can’t wait to capture all the families in Newcastle’s Beautiful Beginnings.
