AIMS AND GOALS

To provide an environment that promotes friendly, supportive and trusting relationships between staff, families, children and management.

To recognise the unique qualities of each child and to work in partnership with families to provide a welcoming environment that caters for the individual needs, interests and abilities of the child.

To provide continuity of care and foster a child's self-esteem, security and well-being.

To provide an environment where children have the confidence to develop into interested, creative and active learners.

To provide a program that is based on our knowledge of how children develop and learn, and incorporates the individual needs and interests of children.

To provide a program that is stimulating and that encompasses all areas of children's development.

To acknowledge the interests and skills of the staff, the children and their families and to ensure that these are utilised in our program.

We recognise that children learn through play and we aim to provide activities that genuinely involve the children and encourage them to explore, experiment, extend and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.
