Batemans Bay Soldiers Club Fishing Club

Batemans Bay Soldiers Club Fishing Club is a a family friendly fishing based club that is both social and competitive. Generally on the last weekend of every month a competition is held where any member or guest who caught a fish on that weekend can bring it in to a BBQ and have it weighed. There are multiple age groups to ensure that even the youngest of competitors have a fair chance of snagging themselves a prize. The BBQ usually goes from 12-3pm with more then enough food and drink to last. There are badge draws, raffles and prizes to be handed out to the 'biggest dummy' that gives even non fisho's a chance at leaving with a voucher for a local store.
Throughout the year we hold away trips where anyone and everyone is welcome to travel down the coast with us to fishing hot spots. You can either camp it out or stay in a cabin, relaxing and fishing to your hearts contempt in a friendly social atmosphere.
Every fish that you weigh in throughout the year whether it be at a monthly comp or at an away comp gives you points that accumulate over the year and go towards the end of year presentation where the best fishers in each age group are determined and rewarded.
