Barwon Heads 13th Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Since its formation in 1961 the club has patrolled 13th Beach every season.

From humble beginnings operating out of a tin shed, the club has progressed to modern facilities we are proud to use today. During this time Barwon Heads/13th Beach SLSC has been at the forefront of patrolling excellence, having won the State Patrol Efficiency Award on four occasions and the District Patrol Efficiency Award on a regular basis.

As well as our fine patrol record, our members have also had success in the competition area, particularly in the I.R.B. where we have not only won State Titles, but provided members to assist with the important task of running carnivals on a state and national level.
