Eureka Outback

For several years, the topic of discussion amongst small local businesses was the absence of a Barcaldine business directory. Businesses, customers, locals and tourists alike described their difficulties in finding accurate information relating to businesses, products, and services within their area, and collectively called for the creation of an easy to use directory containing updated business information in a single location.

The lack of such a service was seen to be having an impact on local and regional businesses as tourists and residents (including locals!) were unaware of the scope and quality of goods and services offered in Barcaldine and the surrounding region, and being humble folk, we (not just me, most of us!) were admittedly not very good at marketing despite having an incredible range of quality and creative goods and services to market.
At the same time, as a photographer, I (Louise Gronold) was attempting to create a directory for wedding providers to offer engaged couples outlining what and who was available locally to make their wedding day wonderful without having to go to a coastal city. Suddenly, Eureka! Why not put it all in the one place! Thus, Eureka Outback was created.

Simply, Eureka Outback is the place to find goods and services in Outback Queensland. It is an accessible, user-friendly, directory that reflects the true nature of your business. It is well maintained and kept up to date, serving as a platform for marketing for local businesses and making it easier for consumers to locate purchasing opportunities.
