Bar 291 is focussed on offering a broad range of entertainment. There's free live music gigs every week, the monthly Trash for Cash Flea Market, and special events ranging from clothing launch parties to indie film screenings.

Spread across the ground level of the heritage building, Bar 291 has much to offer, with two public bars featuring cocktails and a variety of local and imported craft beers on tap, a modern kitchen menu serving classic meals with fresh twists, an open dining room with locally sourced wooden pallets up-cycled as furniture, a lush beer garden, an open courtyard on the railway side, and a venue which often hosts live music, private functions and community events.
