Central on Stockyard is a working hostel set in the heart of the Cunnamulla township. Although primarily advertising to backpackers looking to complete their regional work, the newly renovated rooms and facilities make a great place to stay for tourists looking to explore the outback.

Central on Stockyard was renovated in 2013 and now boasts newly decorated, modern, single and double rooms furnished to a high specification each room comes with access to the balcony and air-conditioning. There is free wifi throughout the property and laundry facilities available to everyone. The hostel holds three lounges with TV and free tea and coffee making facilities for all guests in addition to a 24/7 gym. The kitchen is open 24/7 and is fully equipped with anything you may need, each guest receives their own fridge and food storage area on arrival. Friday night each week is 'Central on Stockyard Dinner' provided and cooked for guests by hostel staff. On weekends the hostel organise optional extras for guests to partake in, in the past these have included Sand-boarding, Fishing and Farm Familiarisation trips.
