Ayr Tennis Association

Ayr Tennis Association was established in 1930 to cater for, what was back then the major sport of the district. Currently our member base is approximately 170, with members of all ages. Ayr Tennis has 10 courts to offer 7 of which are lit, the courts are unlocked and available for use by the community at anytime. In 2009 all 10 courts have been upgraded with the help of funding through the Department of Sport and Recreation. We are centrally situated between Cairns and Mackay, in the Sugar Cane country of the Burdekin Shire, North Queensland. Adult social fixtures are Wednesday and Thursday nights, Ladies social fixtures are Wednesday Mornings, Junior fixtures are Thursday afternoons and Junior coaching is on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, we also cater for many social groups.
