Axel Rayne Yoga

With four years’ service in the Australian Defence Force and more tattoos then a sailor Axel Rayne is not your typical Yoga teacher. Axel’s Yoga journey began in 2013, first out of curiosity and then as a remedy to help him handle PTSD and anxiety symptoms. He was initially drawn to the physical elements of practice, but quickly discovered that Yoga has a depth and practicality grounded in ancient wisdom. What started as a personal healing journey later transformed into a desire to teach and share the wisdom of Yoga, from which he has gained and continues to gain so much. Axel completed his 1440 hr Yoga Teaching Diploma with the Academy of Yoga Science (Satyananda Yoga Academy) and began his teaching journey in 2016. More recently Axel completed a 50 hr Yin Yoga TTC with Hugh Lee. Axel’s mission is to serve, empower and uplift, he teaches with an openness, light-heartedness and sincerity while striking at the core of what Yoga is, an exploration of the mind, body and spirit.
