Hi, my name is Leanne and I'd like to welcome you to the page for Avalon Crystals. We wanted this space to show clearly who we are and what we are all about, so you can be sure when you shop with us that you'll know exactly what to expect.

First of all let me share with you a little background about my husband Terry and I. We established Avalon Crystals in January of 2005. At the time we had 2 kids under 2 and a burning desire to share our passion about crystals and the world that is "New Age" with everyone.

Over the course of the last 6 years we've gradually built up the business in between transitioning out of full time work and having a third child. Today we have a beautiful shop in the CBD of Toowoomba with 2 staff as well as 2 readers who also make up our Avalon Family.

Many people ask me how I started on this journey and it's hard to put a definite start point on it...I can recall even as a child being very drawn to crystals and anything unusual, mystical and just plain old different. During my education, I studied many different cultures and religions and always had a desire for knowledge about what life was really about.

Terry has always had a huge thirst for knowledge and long lists of questions. I'm sure you know the one's "How?" "Why?." He still loves searching for knowledge and sharing the answers he finds with anyone. He has applied this knowledge to his everyday life and is also a hands on healer and loves helping others to find balance in their lives and expanding their experience.

Having always had this natural attraction to and affiliation with the natural world, the next natural step for us was to then start a business to bring these gifts to others.

We have both spent many years specialising in Customer Service both in front line retail and in Management roles, and for the last 6 years as hands-on business owners. We understand how important customer satisfaction and great service is to YOU.


Terry and I literally (yes I mean literally) hand select each and every item we sell. We have access to an extensive range of books and cards but only a very select group qualify to be part of the Avalon Crystals Range. Each and every individual crystal - right down to the last tumblestone on the shelf has been hand selected by us.

After spending most of 2010 traveling around Australia with our 3 kids, we realised that there are many others like us - and you - all over this amazing country.
