Commencing in 1989 as Kyneton Car Parts, we started trading under the Autopro banner some 12 months later. The franchise of Autopro began in 1982 as a marketing group to support independent automotive aftermarket retailers, namely to consolidate their buying power, and now distributes millions of catalogues per year to all corners of mainland Australia.

Autopro Kyneton has grown over the years and is proud to have received many Awards during this time. In 2012 it introduced the Jaycar range to the store to meet the electronic and technical needs of our local community.

In 2012 we purchased our second store in Castlemaine, moving to a purpose-built store and mechanical workshop in May 2013. This has allowed us to stock a greater range of products and better meet the needs of our locals.

Autopro Castlemaine and Kyneton are locally owned and operated, employing local people and supporting the local community through sponsorship and donations. Our stores sell everything from automotive parts, caravanning and camping equipment, Jaycar products (Kyneton only), paints, etc. In addition, we provide information and advice to keep you out on the road, and have on-site qualified mechanics in our workshops to meet your servicing and maintenance needs.
