Australian Motors was proudly founded by the Hassan family in 1952 at Wayville, opposite the Royal Adelaide Showgrounds along with the well-known and established marketing theme, "The Great Great Guys".

Australian Motors has been servicing the motoring needs of South Australians for 60 years, making us one of the oldest and largest privately owned auto retailers in Adelaide.

Our "super-site" at Wayville offers an extensive choice of Peugeot, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Mercedes Benz (Light Commercial). Our site in Edwardstown specialises in Mazda, Morphett Vale in Mitsubishi. Our Mitsubishi dealerships are appointed to sell the unique Ralliart brand of vehicles and since 2010 have been the sole South Australian dealership appointed to sell the i-MIEV, Mitsubishi's flagship electric car. All locations have a great range of used cars, genuine parts and fully equipped service facilities.

The Australian Motors group is steeped in the history of the Adelaide motoring scene and progressively invests in the latest technology, developing new services for its clients. Newly appointed Managing Director, Mark Heyburn, son in law of the original Great Great Guy, Morris Hassan, leads over 200 Great, Great Guys and girls.
