There will be historic aircraft from the classic years of aviation and the most comprehensive collection of World War II aircraft ever to soar skyward at Avalon.

On the ground military re-enactment groups will turn back the pages of history.

Their lifelike recreation of famous Australian Army land battles will be enhanced by authentic period uniforms, vehicles, artillery and weaponry. These displays will be educational and highly informative.

The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition will be staged at Avalon Airport Geelong from Tuesday 28 February to Sunday 5 March 2017.

Public sessions are from 2pm on the Friday 3rd March and all day Saturday 4th March and Sunday 5th March.
