Australian Drover's Reunion, Longreach

Experience life in the bush with the Drover's Reunion through the stories of drovers, stockmen and women who gather yearly to honour the Drovers of days gone by. This event is held yearly, just a short walk from the Stockman's Hall of Fame, Longreach.

Highlights of the weekend include; Outback Games such as Whip Cracking, Billy Boiling and Damper Making, Driving the Nail and Boot Throwing.

Pull up a stump with Australian Drover's to hear yarns around campfire dinners as well as a good culpa.


Located in Longreach, on the Tropic of Capricorn (23° 26' 30" S) at the junction of the Landsborough Highway and the Thomson Developmental Road in Central Queensland. It is approximately 700kms west of Rockhampton, 1200kms North-West of Brisbane, and is surrounded by some of the outback's most historical and interesting towns, features and venues.
