Australian College of Applied Animal Studies provides competency based training to veterinary nurses and people involved in the animal care industries.

Because of the size and scope of Narre Warren North Veterinary Clinic we are able to provide full time training to students wishing to commence a career within the veterinary nursing sector, without the requirement of being employed prior to commencing training.

Our classes are very small – up to 15 students per intake, this ensures personalised training and individual attention to your learning requirements

For nurses currently working in the veterinary nursing sector requiring qualifications we offer RPL Assessment and associated gap training to complete the requirements of ACM40412 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

For students seeking enrolment with the Australian College of Applied Animal Studies:
1. Email Liz Hoffmann to organise a tour or for a course information brochure: ehoffmann@acaas.vic.edu.au, or phone the college:03) 9796 9583
2. Once candidates have toured the facilities, they should complete an "application for enrolment form" & submit a CV & cover letter
3. Applicants will then be contacted for an interview. Interviews will generally be held in May (for July intake) & January (For February intake)

From the original applicants up to 15 students will be selected to commence study in ACM40412 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Tours & applications for enrolment are accepted throughout the year.
