Aurora's New Sound

Aurora’s New Sound was established in 2016 by Dan Scaffidi. Like the adventurous punk cat the company was named after, Aurora’s New Sound endeavours to conquer an environment that most others fear to tread – the modern music industry. At the moment, Aurora’s New Sound represents alternative Melbourne band, Society Of Beggars.

Dan is surrounded by many talented comrades who work collaboratively on music projects. Aurora’s New Sound is made up of an ever-increasing family of in-house designers, producers, engineers and actors. They have also established connections with advertising, PR and publishing companies, as well as music venues.

Before establishing Aurora’s New Sound, Dan could be found frequenting his hometown of Adelaide’s local scene and generally dreaming up a new music model that his journey to Melbourne has allowed him to implement. He also has both a bachelor of education and arts, which have come in handy in the topsy turvy world of Rock & Roll.
