ASYLUM is the official page for all Gnostics, freethinkers, Androgynes and Mad Souls - anyone who feels they don't fit into any of the boxes created by our current religious, political and educational institutions. The aim of the page is to encourage original thinking, innovative Genius and the scepticism and doubt which leads to real Gnosis and Awareness of the true self. As such Asylum has existed from the Dawn of Time - ever since the first hermit and Gnostic decided to break away from the collective norms, morals and taboos of his or her tribe and raised the first doubts and questions about doing things another way from the herd mentality. Our great founders are the free souls, gnostics, radicals and androgynous members of the Third Sex - Diogenes, Blake, Nietzsche and Oscar Wilde.
