Astray Studio

Astray Studio is an artist run initiative with both workspaces & gallery located just off Liverpool St in Hobart's CBD. This unique venture features the work of resident artists Gina Haywood & Drew Murphy.

Frequently changing displays & exhibitions also present the work of other Tasmanian artists & makers who share Astray's organic aesthetic & use of endemic materials.

Astray Studio provides a relaxed opportunity to have a look behind the scenes of contemporary art practice in Hobart, in fact it is quite a 'cabinet of curiosities'.

The mainstay of gallery display is a mix of sculpture, painting & works on paper. From October through December this range expands to include jewellery & textiles.

Be 'led astray' off Liverpool St in Hobart on Thursday, Friday & Saturdays between 11am -4pm or by appointment.
