Your Family Day Care Scheme: Multitask Family Day Care Services provide high quality Childcare Services, catering for the needs of communities at an affordable price which meets the Children’s Services Regulation, Family Day Care Quality Standard and the policies of Multitask Family Day Care Service.

Your Educator: As well as studying my Bachelor of Education through The University of New England for the past few years, I am now actively working towards gaining Certificate III in Children's Services & Early Education. I currently have all relevant certificates required to be operating as a Family Day Care Educator. These include First Aid & CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Food Handling Safety, Assessing children's risk of harm and am covered by Australia Family Day Care Insurance. I also have had previous experience as a Family Day Care Educator.

Whether you want to return to work, want a day to yourself to catch up on housework, be able to go to town without the kids or maybe you just want your child to have more social interaction and give them an extra head start, Family Day Care can give you a solution. With only 4 children + after school care in a safe, happy, friendly environment, the benefits are endless. Children are able to build a closer relationship with just one educator and can provide maximum educational potential.

Fees: Fees for Family Day Care are individual for everyone. They are determined by your personal circumstances by Centrelink. You do not have to be receiving and benefits from Centrelink to qualify for the governments Child Care Benefit (CCB). CCB is different from Preschool fees. If you are not entitled to a discount on your preschool fees does not necessarily mean that you will not be entitled to a CCB percentage discount off Family Day Care services. You do need to understand that even if you are entitled to a 100% CCB from Centrelink, that does not cover 100% of your Family Day Care fees, there is a gap that you will still have to pay to your educator.
Educator base rate $8.00/hr + $1.40/hr Multitask admin levy
Total fees = $9.40/hr
Minimum booking is a full day of 8 hours (9:00am-5:00pm).
Casual days & public holidays will incur higher fees to be explained upon enrolment.

What do I need to do? You will need to notify Centrelink of your wish to enrol your child/children into Family Day Care. Centrelink will give you a Child Care Benefit (CCB) percentage. Depending on your individual circumstances you may also be eligible for the Child Care Rebate (CCR). I can then use this information to give you a fee estimate suited to your personal situation.
