More about Art at Auburn - Gallery

About Art @ Auburn
Art @ Auburn is a collective of 20+ permanent artists* from rural South Australia who work together to show and sell their art in a co-operative run gallery located in Auburn, 90 minutes from the Adelaide CBD.
It’s an organic process that is not owned by one specific member, rather it is the result of the combined energy from the artists who work together to create a collective shared space. This is achieved with the support of a dedicated board and sub – committee’s, with a focus on artist development and gallery promotion.
The gallery includes fine works in ceramics, glass, sculpture, photography, paintings, prints, jewellery and home wares, as well as unique textiles and fibre, fashion, wearables, accessories, gifts, and more.
The website is at www.artatauburn.com.au (please note this may still be under construction, so check back soon!)
Membership
Art @ Auburn operates as a nonprofit co-operative and all proceeds go directly to the artists, excluding the commission charged on sales to cover the non-fixed costs of stationery, eftpos, administration, sundries, displays and promotion. This still benefits the members as it is spent directly by the collective for the benefit of the collective. All members retain one share as per the constitution upon paying the joining fee.

*this is a work in progress, hopefully to be fulfilled by July 2015!
