AquaVibe

AquaVibe specializes in in water fitness/aerobic exercises, offering aqua fitness classes for both the local community and visitors’ alike, in a safe and enjoyable environment.

AquaVibe classes are based at the Mirage Country Club lap pool and QT lap pool in Port Douglas and can also be conducted in the privacy and convenience of your own swimming pool.

AquaVibe classes cater for everyone including beginners, intermediate and advanced, along with senior aqua, mums and bumps.

What to expect?

AquaVibe classes consist of practicing aerobic/fitness exercises in fairly shallow or/and deep water coached by an aqua fitness instructor and rhymed by the music.

You will explore and perform:
-Shallow water exercises in a vertical position in water depth of waist to chest level. Horizontal workout can be performed also with floating equipment.
Aqua dumbbells, kickboards and swimming noodles, buoyancy belts, gloves are some of the equipment you will use. It’s a great cardiovascular, and muscle-toning workout using water resistance with low impact on the joints.
-Deep water exercises in water depth that allow the participant to remain a vertical position without touching the pool bottom using flotation equipment as a buoyancy belt or swimming noodle. It’s a great cardiovascular workout where there is no impact on the joints.

Everyone can enjoy the benefits of our aquatic fitness programs regardless of age, fitness level, ability, goals or interests.
Aquavibe classes use a combination of low, moderate and high intensity moves which allow all participants to work at their own pace.

Finally, water fitness training has a huge range of benefits, giving its participants a fun way of achieving a full-body workout.

All classes are conducted by professional and highly qualified aqua fitness instructors.
