Royal Life Saving, the world’s leading swimming and water safety authority has opened Australia’s first Aquatic Safety Training Academy (ASTA) in Seven Hills.
ASTA provides the communities in and around Western Sydney with a state of the art facility in which to offer a comprehensive range of services, training and education programs.
The ASTA delivers the Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive program, a broad and balanced learn to swim program teaching a range of skills and knowledge to develop swimming, water safety, survival and basic rescue skills. It aims to develop a strong and safety aware swimmer who has a healthy respect for the aquatic environment.
Swim and Survive is a swimming and water safety initiative of Royal Life Saving that seeks to increase swimming and water safety skills of Australian children in order to prevent drowning and increase participation in safe aquatic activity.
