Winchelsea Community Bank Branch opened on 13th November, 2003 & the Anglesea Community Bank Branch opened on in 23rd June, 2005.
CFS has returned over $750,000 in community contributions back into the local community returning over $100,000 in recent years to more than 60 community groups and organisations, in the form of grants and sponsorships annually.
Our financial contributions have also played a pivotal role in supporting and securing funding for more than $7m in local community projects including, but not limited to the following:-
- Hesse Rural Health Dementia Wing
- Winchelsea’s Eastern Reserve Community Centre
- Anglesea Fire Station of the Future
- Moriac Community Health Centre
Anglesea and Winchelsea Community Bank branches service and hold banking business over a broad section of the Surf Coast Shire, and upon the fringes of the Golden Plains Shire and the Colac Otway Shire.
CFS has extended its services beyond the Community Bank branches, with ATM’s in Birregurra, Aireys Inlet, Lorne and Moriac. Outside of these areas, the Community Bank branches hold and service banking business extending to Lorne on the coast, Freshwater Creek, Deans Marsh, Barwon Downs and north to Inverleigh.
