Angel's Healthfoods

Angel's Healthfoods in Cowes Phillip Island was created by Angel Foster in 1996. With years of experience under her belt working in and managing other health food stores, she followed her dream and opened her own shop.

For 18 years Angel ran her shop with a passion for serving her community and built and strong and essential business on the Island. Angel sadly passed away in July 2014, however her husband Phil continues to run the business with the support of professional staff including naturopaths Miriam Strickland and Bianca McMahon, and physiotherapist Kristine Miles (Angels and Phil's daughter).

Angels Healthfoods stocks a huge variety of products including wide ranges of books, natural personal care and cosmetics, supplements, teas and herbs, culinary oils, gluten free products, organic and natural grocery items including tinned items, pasta, crackers and freshly packed onsite items such as nuts, seeds, legumes, grains, and dried fruits - not forgettting the famous "Angels wheat free raw muesli"

Angels also stocks fresh bread delivered 3 times a week, organic meat, coconut, sheep and goat yoghurts, fermeted drinks, fresh/raw sauerkraut, organic coconut water, organic cheese, free range eggs, coconut icecreams and sprouted essene bread.

Other ranges include organic seeds (for planting gardens), water filters, water bottles, baby products (rubber dummies, nappies etc), Crystal Creek water, juicers, blenders, and more.

Bulk items are also avaialble including over 50 herbs and spices, Abode laundry and dishwashing liquid, organic raw honey, hulled and unhulled tahini, Tamari, Mirin, massage oil (H2Oil) and house made peanut butter milled to order. 5kg bags of organic Spelt flour and oats are always available and anything can be ordered in bulk to attract a 10% discount e.g. a slab of organic tinned tomatoes.
