Alice Nivens Cakery & Studio

When one door closes, another one opens! Due to the Melbourne Metro Rail Project we were forced to close the doors to our café studio. Never fear though – in place we have opened our cakery & studio.

An Alice Nivens cake is a handmade, bespoke & delicately crafted cake for your occasion. We create each cake with you, and the sky’s the limit!

Just like in the café studio, the cakes are untraditional but unique treasures; think fruit curds between cake layers, caramel slathered in and on the cake, delicately hand-painted meringues and macarons...

I work with you from the beginning of the design process through to the execution - how you want the cake to look like, what flavours and colours you love, and (if it's a wedding cake and there is a florist involved), what works best with the flowers. It's an utterly enjoyable experience and plenty of fun (as it should be!).
