Alertness Study

What will the project involve?
• A continuous six day stay at the Monash University Sleep and Circadian Medicine Laboratory during which time you will be asked to stay awake for up to 48 hours and to provide regular blood, saliva and urine samples.
• Sleep and activity monitoring at home for a total of four weeks. For two of those four weeks you will be asked to maintain a regular sleep schedule
• Screening for medical, psychiatric and sleep disorders
• Participants will be reimbursed up to $2,300 for their time and travel.

You may be eligible if you:
• Are a healthy adult male between 20 and 35 years old
• Have no current medical, psychiatric or sleep conditions
• Are a native English speaker
• Are a non-smoker
• Have not been a shift worker in the past 3 months
