What is NLP (neuro-linguistic programming)?
NLP is a study of the relationship between our thought processes (neuro), how we communicate (linguistic) and the various patterns of our behaviours and emotions (programming).There are a variety of descriptions available of what NLP is and as in any field, different trainers specialise in specific areas of NLP.

On a consulting level Nlp is about considering a clients map of the world (how they view the world), understanding regular patterns/beliefs which may be holding them back, acknowledging what outcome they are wanting to achieve and finally implementing the appropriate adjustments/changes to allow for their desired outcome whether for an individual or a corporation.

Unlike psychology where clients are sometimes encouraged to dwell and discuss their past experiences, NLP is quite often content free, more in the moment and results can be achieved and noticeable within the first session. Certainly an adjustment in thought process begins and from there the path to the desired outcome is set in place; from there the sky is the limit.

Through my own experience in life I have come to realise how powerful our minds are. Do you realise the majority of people only use approximately 10% of their brain power (i.e. mind), giving us a need to realise the patterns we’ve developed and how the limits we place on ourselves can be expanded and changed allowing us to live the life we truly want?

The good news is we can change our minds and our life whenever we choose to, the key is knowing how... and that is where AHCS (Aim High Corporate Solutions) comes into its own.

I was lucky to grow up with my father John Maggs being an excellent communicator and a very successful salesman, but he was more than a salesman, he genuinely loved helping people and because of that he naturally built rapport and trust with his clients which made him very successful.

A major part of NLP is modelling people who have the skills and abilities we are wanting, I realise now from an early age I modelled my fathers skills which have lead me to also become a great communicator and very successful at whatever I put my mind to.

I was first introduced to NLP through Anthony Robbins, I was fascinated by the way Anthony totally transformed his life then went on to become one of the worlds most respected motivational speakers. Several years later in the late 90’s I was working in the Fitness Industry representing a company who hired an NLP trainer to assist staff in improving performance and witnessed amazing results, which have continued to assist in my sales roles in the corporate world.

My experience for the last 10 years has been in the Real Estate industry contracting as a fully Licensed agent specialising at the top end of the Real Estate market in Brighton Melbourne Vic representing J.P Dixon Real Estate, a company highly regarded for its impeccable standards, integrity and outstanding success. Jonathan Dixon (Managing Director) has been my mentor since beginning my Real Estate career in 2003.

In 2012 I decided to further expand my skills and knowledge and undertook intensive NLP training attaining the level of Master Practitioner. My intention since undergoing further training has been to continue to assist others in making positive changes to their lives as I have... Interestingly enough, since applying NLP to my dealings in Real Estate I have consistently achieved outstanding results!

NLP helps to clear whatever is holding us back, suddenly we realise there is nothing stopping us and we begin to live the life we truly deserve.

I am excited to be able to pass on my knowledge and give my clients the chance to reach expectations, which they felt had been out of reach, allowing them to improve their world as I have improved my own.
