I am experienced, intuitive and very passionate about massage/ stretching and self care! I qualified in 2015 and became certified in 2016.
(*health rebates available soon). I am thorough and aim to reduce tension and improve alignment of the whole body, not just the area of concern....often the cause is elsewhere!
Remedial treatments are ideal for neck/ back/ knee/ arm/elbow/ shoulder/ hip/ hand/ feet pain, and general body maintenance for workers/ parents/ students athletes and active/sedentary people. I can decrease muscle tension and knots within those muscles that are aggravating past injuries and current pathologies. In each massage I am able to assist with postural correction and maintenance. Got an ongoing issue with your body? 3-6 massages within a fortnight of ea other can do more than most think...if you find a good massage therapist!
Techniques are uniquely combined to include dry and oil massage, Swedish(relaxation), deep tissue (varying pressure), reflexology, head/ face/scalp massage, Myofacial Release, Passive stretching, self care and stretching advice, and most importantly-Trigger point Release (the release of knots, or taut bands in muscle fibers). Everyone has Trigger points and they can appear anywhere depending on your lifestyle and genetics. As they become more inflamed they push joints out of place, (ever had a clicky knee/shoulder?) causing pain (and more), limiting functionality, thereby decreasing stamina and general body/mind confidence. I release these "knots" while combining relaxation and deep tissue techniques throughout. Techniques used on your muscles are executed at ideal angles to limit pain. A skill that comes to me naturally is adjusting pressure t/out the massage to maintain comfort- r.e. i often don't need to be told harder/ softer or too much! I create an environment that enables you to breath naturally, and often relax deeply which is under rated but crucial for optimum comfort and release in my opinion!

Headache helper relieves headaches/ TMJ (jaw) issues/ neck pain. Each treatment includes both sides of the body (usually more on the over-used side!)for an optimum balanced outcome.

Relaxation treatments are ideal pre/post stress/trauma/ travel/ heavy workload or post pregnancy for example, promoting physical and emotional healing. I use 100% pure DoTerra essential oils, collected from the earth to nourish you in your home! (contact me to order your own!).

Prefer to be clothed?...no problem, I can massage through a towel and get better grip! I also do Chair massage(not a normal chair!) for individuals and small groups at work or home (max 12 people).
