Advance Physiotherapy

Advance Physiotherapy is a new physiotherapy clinic in Clare run by Ann-Louse (Annie) Scheepers.

Annie is passionate about a holistic approach to physiotherapy, not just treating the affected site but also investigating the underlying reasons and biomechanics causing the injury and addressing these issues to reduce the risk of recurring problems.

Annie completed her training in Auckland, New Zealand and has the following physiotherapy specific qualifications:
• Bachelor of Health Science Physiotherapy (2007) (BHscPhysio)
• Master of Health Practice Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, (obtained with merit 2011) (MHPrac)
• Pilates Instructor Courses
Level One Mat Pilates (2008)
Level Two Mat Pilates (2008)
Level One Equipment Pilates (2009)

Annie has a keen interest in musculoskeletal pain and sport injury management, however she also manages the following conditions/problems:
• All musculoskeletal injuries/pain (including back pain, headaches, joint injuries)
• Return to sport programs
• Degenerative conditions eg osteoarthritis
• Women's health and post-natal pelvic floor rehabilitation
• Pilates
• Work Cover Injuries
• GP Health Care Plans

Outside of physiotherapy Annie is a keen surfer and runner, and is thoroughly enjoying the wine, food and country living having moved to Clare with her husband and two daughters in August 2014.
