ACU Greek Society

The ACU Greek Society was created in 2009 as a result of Greek students wanting to come together to converse, mix and promote Hellenistic pride.

The initial aim of the society was to enable students of Greek heritage to find each other and share their interests. Although this is still the societies main aim, the ACU Greek Society now also aims to promote and share Greek history, culture, food and music with the rest of the university.

The society is entirely apolitical and stands only to unite Greek students in sharing and promoting Hellenism. The society’s most important goal is encourage Greek-Australian’s to feel proud of their heritage and culture by promoting a love for all things Greek.

The ACU Greek Society, is not exclusive to Greek students, and we encourage that all students who are interested in being involved in something different join our society. We also encourage students of other cultures to come together and promote their culture through creating a society as well.
