Aboriginal Community Connect

Aboriginal Community Connect provides a 'one-stop' support for people needing help with multiple issues. As well as AOD treatments to address substance misuse, the service offers support for problems associated with social isolation; poverty and disadvantage; housing; the effects of trauma; social and emotional wellbeing.
ACC has a "No Wrong Door" policy
and offers a range of services including:

- counselling
- community residential rehabilitation facilities
- drug and alcohol withdrawal support
- group work sessions
- cultural connection activities
- emergency relief
- information and education
- a clean needle program
- case management
- outreach support
- referral services
- crisis support

We recognize the integral role that cultural connection activities play in relapse prevention and rehabilitation. Therefore ACC offers group work and linkages to Aboriginal art and craft activities, cultural tours, bush tucker gardens, yarning circles, traditional healing and other cultural activities.

Aboriginal Community Connect provides support and has offices in the Murray Lands, Riverland, Adelaide and Limestone Coast.

Kurlana Tampawardli (New House on the Plains,) is ACC's homelessness service for rural and remote Aboriginal clients living transient in Adelaide. This service also offers a Return to Country safe tracking service for APY land clients returning to country. Our homelessness service is at 45 Tapley Hills Rd Hendon. PH: 8202 5610
