Abhi's Bread

Abhis Bread Bakery was established in 1994
with the goal of using the best local quality ingredients to provide the most traditional Organic handcrafted bread.

With only 6 different handmade organic sourdough loaves, baked in our little South Fremantle shop, Abhis’s Bread was then delivered by bike, in a suburb where the Peace
& Love attitude also considered environmentally friendly & Organic orientations.

In respecting the traditional methods of baking, we have always used 100% Yeast Free Sourdough, fermented the same way it was 2000 years ago, without the use of any preservatives, additives, oils or improvers.

With the same dedication in keeping these healthy guidelines, our extensive line of Yeasted Loaves and Rolls was created, mixing ingredients to introduce new flavours and unique tastes.

As an Artisan Bakery, we proudly handcraft our products with care and monitor closely every stage of the fabrication process to bring the best quality possible.

We have since traded the bike in for vans but, we do support our local farmers in order to keep strong communities in WA and, as part of our awareness to respect the environment: all our Organic Wheat Flour is WA grown.

We only use Unbleached Flour, Iodized Salt & Filtered Water in all our loaves to guarantee the most genuine and authentic taste, as well as providing a healthy and nutritious product.

We also have a range of delicious Cakes & Pastries, the classics inspired by European influences as well as a line reflecting the evolution of dietary concerns: with Low or No Gluten, Flourless or Organic.
