A Smart Farmer

The mobile dairy classroom is a unique, educational and entertaining experience for students to explore science and technology within the agricultural sector with a focus on "Paddock to Plate". The educational content and student participation within our Mobile Dairy Classroom has been tailored to align with the science and Technology unit "Paddock to Plate" early stage 1.
Our educational and entertaining experience will:
1. Educate about the dairy industry past, present and future,
2. Educate about herd and farm management including dietary requirements of dairy cows,
3. Demonstrate how a cow is milked by machine and hand,
4. Demonstrate how milk is separated into it's components and explain how dairy products are designed, produced and distributed,
5. Demonstrate and allow students to manufacture butter and soft cheese,
6. Allow students the experience of hand milking a cow and
7. Emphasise the nutritional benefits of drinking milk and consuming other dairy products in an entertaining manner.
