Yutaka Sawa was originally a Japanese Restaurant in Swan Hill in 2004. During its 9 years Yutaka Sawa Restaurant built a strong connection with the local people and had a great reputation around the area receiving multiple awards.
Yutaka Sawa started to expand its business towards the south of Victoria in Bendigo and Ballarat. They opened their first sushi bar in the Market Place Shopping Centre in Bendigo in 2009. As the business grew they opened their second sushi bar in Ballarat Wendouree Stockland Shopping Centre in 2012 and in 2014 they opened their newest sushi bar at Lansell Square Shopping Centre in Kangaroo Flat.
