Young Crisis Accommodation Centre Inc. was established in Young in 1989. Originally set up to provide safe and secure accommodation for women and children fleeing domestic violence and homelessness.
Today the centre has evolved into a multi-purpose service centre offering tailored support plans for homelessness, including young people, women, men, individuals and families.
The centre still maintains crisis accommodation for women and women with children.
The centre focuses on rapid rehousing and assistance to sustain tenancies.
