Written By Hand

Hi, I’m Glenda Davis, a calligrapher and chalkboard lettering artist.

I started my working life drawing and hand lettering engineering plans. My interest in lettering, and writing in general, led to a diploma in showcard and ticket writing, and I continued on to study graphic design. I guess I was destined to write on things in one form or another.

I have years of experience in the business of weddings and celebration stationery, corporate and event work.

My signature style is appreciated by those seeking a quality, hand written service. My calligraphy and lettering reflects my love of history; the beauty of hand written letters, addressed envelopes and hand written documents. Memories of a time when communication was written by hand.

I hope my work will illustrate to you my love of the written word in all its forms.
