Wilde Cricket

Handcrafted crickets bats made in Waroona , Western Australia. Taught by master podshaver Ian Callen, a former Victorian state cricketer who played one test against the West Indies before being cut down by injuries.
Weights can range from 2 lb 8oz to 3lb, occasionally heavier depending on clefts available. Edges range from 25 to 35mm thick, again depending on clefts available at the time. Generally made with standard middle which is the most suitable for Australian conditions. Can be made with lower or higher middles if required. All bat weights are as a finished product with grips included in weight.
Made from the English willow ' Salix alba Caerula' grown in the Yarra valley region in Victoria from the Willow Blue forestry.
Willow Blue has great rebound properties.
