I have been told I am a gleaner ... I find wild or neglected trees with fruits on them, and process them into exciting old fashioned jams chutneys and sauces. I recycle jars and bottles wherever possible - all with new lids and everything I sell is picked, processed and then sold by me
WILD GOURMET are seasonal gleaned ingredients from areas in
Sth Australia, both on the Fleurieu and Eyre Peninsulas. Made with
traditional recipes that have come straight from the books your
grandma used cooking on an old wood stove, there's a "New Century Twist" in EVERY jar. With Coffin Bay & the Fleurieu being
the ideal climate to produce such amazing fruits, all gleaned fruits
remain free of artificial flavour and preservatives and are hand
picked as often as possible.
Packaged as much as possible in recycled jars, often different in
shape and size and finished with new lids, it reflects the authentic
nature of all my handmade produce and sincere belief in reusing any glass I can.
As all fruits are seasonal, in turn so are some of my jams, sauces,
chutneys and pastes. This is to maintain the superior quality at all
times. Again with variations in season and fruit variety, flavours
may vary slightly between batches, however the same recipe is used at all times.... AND IT IS ALL MADE IN KERREN'S KITCHEN
