More about Warner Lakes Physical Culture Club

Physical Culture, or "physie - fizzy" as we all call it, is an exercise dance program designed for girls and ladies of all ages. It is a fun way to develop core strength, flexibility and great body posture. Each age group has a programmed dance syllabus that includes aerobic style warm-ups, standing and floor exercises and dances that are based on ballet and jazz movement. These routines are performed to modern music and are different every year. Physie is a great low-cost dance class that keeps girls and ladies entertained all year round. Physie is a great way to gain confidence and meet new friends...but best of all Physie is FUN!!!
Warner Lakes Physical Culture Club was established in January 2011 and is a BJP affiliated club. Our aim is to build confidence, good posture, fitness, core strength and flexibility through exercise. But most of all we want you to have fun!!! We pride ourselves on being a friendly and social club.
Our teacher Kim-Marie, comes with over 40 years experience in Physie, starting at the age of 4 herself. Kim-Marie is also a qualified school teacher, who has worked in all facets of education from Early Childhood education through to Secondary education, so she understands how dance and movement can have a positive effect of the growth and nurturing of young people.
We aim to make Physie the choice of dance for more girls throughout Queensland. So if you are after a "dance with a difference", at a price that suits your budget, then why not give Physie a go.
