Our biltong is made using high quality beef, sourced from the SouthWest of WA. Our spices are mixed and ground on the premises, achieving a fresh and unique flavour.

Wagonbox biltong is air dried. This age-old method maintains the nutrients in the meat, as well as conserving the amazing flavour.

Biltong-
Biltong is a meat product that originated from South Africa. it is a cut of meat that is spiced, marinated in vinegar and later hung to dry. Back before we had refrigeration, this method was used to keep the meat from spoiling. the drying method increases the shelf life of the product by months, making it perfect for long journeys. This way of preserving meat led to the discovery of an exciting and delicious food that is now widely consumed around the whole world
