Our projects involve a lengthy procedure with a number of layers of different paint hues, which ensure that the distressing process results in an authentic "aged" look and feel.
One of the most important aspects of this procedure is that each and every piece that leaves our studio is unique.
The paint is mixed specifically for each project, which further ensures the uniqueness of each piece. It also means that you can commission a specific colour that will blend seamlessly within your decorating scheme.
The distressing or aging process can be very individual also - a lot, which will give a rustic look and less distressing, which would give a piece of furniture depth and character without looking farmhousey!
The proper way to distress a piece of furniture is not a case of sanding paint off......it involves a lot of thought to ensure that the distressing looks like it occurred naturally over many years, and looks authentic.
