UWS was rated as top in the UK for a number of undergraduate degree courses in terms of Overall Student Satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2016. The following undergraduate courses were rated at 100% for Overall Student Satisfaction:

Community Education
Forensic Science
Midwifery
Sport & Exercise Science

In addition, our Chemical Engineering course was rated top in Scotland and 3rd in the UK, and our Education, Psychology and our Drama-related courses were rated top in Scotland for Overall Student Satisfaction. Other highly rated courses were Politics which was rated 2nd in Scotland, as well as our Applied Biosciences, Chemistry and Civil Engineering courses.
