Ulla and Bjorn's Art Shack

Bjorn and Ulla's Art Shack is showcasing Art created by Ulla and Art photography by Bjorn and furthermore a collaboration between their paint and photography portraying an interesting layered journey between two Danish Artists.

Ulla Abildgaard has previously exhibited in Frederikskirken and is also exhibiting at Ferry Artists Gallery at Wisemans Ferry and at TAP Gallery in Sydney, Darlinghurst.

My work portrays my life's journey through capturing and expressing the emotions and energy of abstract and contemporary human form. Enhanced by deep rich and vibrant colours my work moves from bold screen prints and dreamy pastels to raw and expressive multi-layered acrylics . I also experiment with the extreme contrasts in moods and colours between my home country Denmark and Australia. My unique technique is expressed by using a plastic card when applying colours to a canvas - I rarely use a brush. This gives me the unfabricated outcome and endless possibilities when "attacking " the canvas

Bjorn Hansen 's Fusion Art' is the manipulation of photography in order to challenge popular conventions, and bring rise to a unique, artistic display of photography. This concept of ‘fusion photography’ takes two previously unrelated entities and melds them together into the one synthesized photographic image.

The two components which are chosen to synthesize is an image of a living and the non living. As a result of this image fusion, the photographic composition is brought to life, with a compelling story to tell. Motives used for creating the images are so far from Denmark and Australia.
