The fundamental Service philosophy of the "Tumut District Community Transport" is to provide transport to clients who are frail aged, disabled (moderate to severe disability) and their carers. Transport disadvantage is addressed in conjunction with our HACC passengers.The focus is to prevent premature or inappropriate institutionalisation.
We assist in Health Transport for people living in the Tumut Shire.
We transport disadvantaged people & the Aboriginal Community in Brungle.
We are a part of the Home and Community Care Program whose aim is to assist people to remain living within their own home for as long as possible.
We are a non-profit Community Organisation, whose aim is to help transport people in our Community, who are frail aged and can no longer enjoy their mobility.
People who have a disability, as well as the carer's who look after these people!
Other people in the Community, in conjunction with H.A.C.C passengers, can join in on our trips for a set fee.
